2. Subject of the service
Narrantium is a narrative platform for Game Masters and players of tabletop role-playing games, system-agnostic, that allows you to create, share and play Quests (adventures) in real time. The service includes a Quest editor, a library of Quests published by the community, session management tools and Quest purchase/sale features for authors.
3. User account
- To register you must be at least 14 years old (threshold set by the Italian Privacy Code). If you are under 18 you must obtain consent from the person exercising parental responsibility.
- The data provided at registration must be truthful, complete and up to date.
- You are solely responsible for the safekeeping of your password and for any activity carried out through your account.
- You can close your account at any time from the profile settings or by writing to info@narrantium.com.
4. User content (UGC)
You retain full ownership of the content you create and upload to Narrantium (Quests, scenes, maps, characters, media). By publishing a Quest in the library you grant Narrantium a non-exclusive, free, worldwide and revocable licence to host, distribute, display and possibly promote the content on the platform, solely for the purpose of providing the service.
You are directly responsible for the content you publish. You guarantee that you have all the necessary rights (including, but not limited to, copyright on texts and images) and that you do not infringe third party rights. Narrantium reserves the right to remove any content reported as unlawful or contrary to these Terms.
Third-party game systems (e.g. D&D 5e by Wizards of the Coast) remain the property of their respective owners: Narrantium is a system-agnostic platform and does not claim rights over such systems. The use of protected trademarks or content is subject to their respective licences (SRD, OGL, Creative Commons, etc.).
5. Rules of conduct
It is forbidden to use Narrantium for:
- unlawful or fraudulent activities, or activities harmful to the rights of others;
- publishing defamatory, discriminatory, violent, pornographic, child-pornographic content or content contrary to human dignity;
- sending spam, malware, automated content or carrying out unauthorised scraping;
- attempting to compromise the security of the platform or circumvent technical limitations;
- impersonating other users or entities.
6. Purchases and payments
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Narrantium does not store your card details. Prices are in Euro, VAT included where applicable.
The purchase of a paid Quest grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Quest within the Narrantium platform, even after possible removal of the Quest from the public library, as long as your account remains active.
Right of withdrawal: pursuant to art. 59, paragraph 1, letter o) of the Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005), by agreeing to access digital content immediately after purchase, the consumer expressly waives the right of withdrawal. Any refunds for serious malfunctions or conformity defects must be requested at info@narrantium.com within 14 days of purchase.
7. Subscription plans
Narrantium offers recurring subscription plans (monthly or yearly) that unlock additional builder features, higher limits on scenes/heroes/Quests and access to AI features. The features and price of each plan are shown on the plans page at the time of subscription. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the same price (unless changes are communicated with at least 30 days' notice).
You can cancel the renewal at any time from the Stripe customer portal accessible from your profile settings: the subscription remains active until the end of the period already paid and is not renewed. Deleting your account automatically and immediately cancels all active subscriptions.
Consumer right of withdrawal (Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005): you have 14 days from subscription to withdraw without giving reasons, unless you have expressly requested to start using the digital service during the withdrawal period, in which case the right lapses once performance has begun (art. 59 lett. o). To exercise the withdrawal, write to info@narrantium.com.
In case of downgrade or cancellation: content exceeding the limits of the lower plan remains viewable in read-only mode, but cannot be edited, nor can new content be created beyond the limits of the active plan.
8. NC Credits (Narrantium Credits)
NC (Narrantium Credits) are an internal platform credit usable exclusively to activate Narrantium AI features (e.g. Auto-Hero, Auto-Enemy, assisted translations). NC are NOT electronic money, are non-refundable, non-transferable to other users, cannot be converted back into money and do not accrue interest.
The NC cost of each operation is shown in the interface before confirmation. The charge is atomic: if the AI function fails, the NC are automatically re-credited. NC do not expire as long as the account remains active.
You can purchase NC packages via Stripe. Top-ups are invoiced immediately. The remaining balance is permanently zeroed if the account is deleted and does not entitle you to any refund, except in cases mandatorily provided for by law.
9. AI Features
AI generation features (text, images and other media) are provided through the Lovable AI Gateway, which routes requests to third-party models: text models (Google Gemini) and image generation models (Google Gemini Image / Imagen, OpenAI GPT-Image, Flux). Prompts are transmitted to the sub-processor only for the time needed for generation and are not used to train models, according to the provider's terms in force at the time.
AI-generated content is provided "as is", with no guarantee of accuracy, originality, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement of third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing and using the outputs, and you agree not to use the AI features to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or infringing on the rights of others.
To the extent permitted by applicable law (including case-law uncertainties about the authorship of AI outputs), Narrantium claims no copyright over the outputs generated on your behalf and grants you the right to use them in your content, always within the limits set by these Terms and by the terms of the underlying models.
10. Creators and Quest sales
Users can publish paid Quests after completing the Stripe Connect onboarding procedure. A share of the price is retained by Narrantium as a platform commission; the remaining share is credited to the creator according to Stripe Connect's timing and methods. Commissions and payouts are visible in the creator dashboard.
11. Suspension and termination
Narrantium reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account in case of breach of these Terms, notifying the user by email with reasonable notice where possible. In case of serious breaches (fraud, unlawful content, repeated abuse) the suspension may be immediate.
You can delete your account yourself at any time from your profile settings ("Delete account" section). Deletion is immediate and final and entails: erasure of personal data and private content, automatic cancellation of all active Stripe subscriptions, and zeroing of the remaining NC balance. Any invoices already issued and the related tax data are kept for the 10 years required by law.
12. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Narrantium is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data resulting from unforeseeable malfunctions, or service interruptions not attributable to its own fault. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Narrantium's liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence or for the mandatory rights granted to the consumer by Italian law.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. Any substantial change will be communicated by email and in the platform with at least 15 days' notice. Continued use of the service after entry into force constitutes acceptance of the changes; in case of non-acceptance you can withdraw and close the account at no cost.
14. Applicable law and competent court
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute the Court of Monza has exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory provisions protecting the consumer that identify jurisdiction in the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile.
Pursuant to EU Regulation 524/2013, the consumer may use the European online dispute resolution platform (ODR): ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
